Hi, I’m Casey Arbour
I am a 30 year-old proud South Jersey native, artist, avid bowler and self-proclaimed chef. I currently own my own graphic design business, Arbour Media, focusing on website development and print materials. I am also a part time tutor for the art department at the Gardens Campus for Palm Beach State College.
I have always been a creative and imaginative individual, as must artists usually are. I still have many of my drawings I did as a kid, remembering where I was and how I felt drawing whatever it was that I was drawing. In the 90’s, my brother and I both got into computers, he went in the programming side, I continued with art and went more for the digital graphics.
In middle and high school is when I really started learning HTML and CSS and building websites the old school way. Some code on a .txt file! I’ve had many opportunities to learn and grow since then, and am very thankful because without the support of a few superstars, I would not be where I am today. I learned the majority of my design skills on my own, but know I still have so much to learn, and am so excited to continue my education at Palm Beach State College.
Fun fact: I am extremely passionate about the sport of bowling and have had a ball in hand since I was 4 years old. I compete at both the amateur and professional level all across the state and country. I have rolled 2 perfect 300 games and have competed with the professionals you see on TV (if anyone has ever watched bowling on the tube). If I’m not traveling for bowling or working on my business, you’ll more than likely find me in the kitchen. I love to cook and create art on the plate with my food.
