Film photography is something I have always been fascinated with. I remember my mother running around with her 35mm camera when my brother and I were kids just snapping away, capturing every moment of our childhood. Although she never developed the film herself, I always wondered how it was done and loved looking through the negatives we used to get back from the store.
I finally had the opportunity to take the Intro to Photography class at Palm Beach State College as a part of my Graphic Design degree program. I wish I took this class sooner! I absolutely love being in the dark room. If it weren’t for taking that class when I did, I would not have my tutor/photo lab tech job at the college.
Here are some of my favorite prints. “Sir Henry” was in the 34th Annual Student Exhibit, although due to the pandemic it was a virtual show.
